Oh the Joys of Anatomy
Like I have stated before I am an Athletic Training major. For my major I was required to take anatomy which I was really excited to do because I have always had a great interest in the organ systems in the human body. One of the great things at BYU's anatomy class is that we get to actually look at cadavers. Some may seem this as kind of gross but I say HEY what's a better way to learn than looking at the actual structures. The only down sight of this is my new outlook on the foods I eat, especially meat. When the gluteus maximus on a human cadaver looks something like the roast I ate at my grandmothers a few weeks ago it sort of makes me think of what I am really eating. Now I am not saying that I dislike meat and I am definitely not even close to going to vegetarian, I'm just saying that when you take anatomy at BYU, you'll never look at a roast the same again.

LOL! Adam, you are a comedienne. This give you a whole new perspective on meat, eh? Here's another way to think of that roast--a cow's glut (I like the way I spell it!) :-))
Hee hee, I didn't know you had a blog! I like it, you are very funny my bro. We'll have to have some PIG glut together sometime. Yum yum...
Wow I admire you for your experience in anatomy and working with that kind of thing! I may never eat roast again but that's okay!
I love meat... and after reading your blog i don't think i will be eating it for a few days. That is a cool major though! Think of all the fun jobs it could lead you to!
Adam, I had the opportunity to work on a cadaver in college and I never made the connection to "meat" but our cadaver was a woman and it changed my perception GREATLY on the body image problems that most women seem to have.
I kinda do the same thing after dissecting rats in my high school anatomy class last year. Beans (from burritos or whatever)look just exactly like rat liver (same color, size, etc) and ramen noodle, sorry to disappoint, look similar to their intestines. But hey, food is food I guess.
Hey, Adam i finally found a way to talk to you all the way in BYU. So hows things afloating? I am busy with school and Ski Team. So respond somehow ok. See you when you come back to good ol' Mount Pleasant. :)
